The Irish Accounting and Finance Association (IAFA) are delighted to announce that our next
Doctoral Event will take place on 22nd March 2024 from 10.30am to 12.30pm. The event will be held
online, and it is free to attend.

The theme of this event is “Career Planning in Academia” and will take the format of a panel
discussion. Guest speakers on our panel will include IAFA members at various stages of a career in
academia and they will share their experiences, learnings, and nuggets of wisdom as they reflect on
their academic journey to date. This event will provide doctoral students and early career
researchers with valuable insights that will assist them in planning for their own career in academia.

Registration for the event will close at 5pm on March 20th , after which registered attendees will
receive the information required to access the seminar.
