The Irish Accounting and Finance Association (IAFA) are delighted to announce that our next Doctoral Event will take place on 10th November 2023, 1pm to 3pm. The event will be held online, and it is free to attend.

The theme of this event is “Conducting a Systematic Literature Review in Accounting Research” and our guest speaker is Professor Kris Hardies, University of Antwerp, Belgium. The event is particularly relevant for doctoral students and early career researchers.

Professor Hardies currently works at the Department of Accounting and Finance at the University of Antwerp and conducts research in accounting (mainly auditing), capital markets, gender, personality and individual differences, and social media.

Professor Hardies has recently published a paper with co-authors titled “A Guide for Accounting Researchers to Conduct and Report Systematic Literature Reviews” published in Behavioural Research in Accounting.

The motivation for this event was a call for papers issued recently by the Accounting, Finance and Governance Review Journal titled “Systematic literature reviews in Accounting, Finance and Governance”.

This event is kindly supported by CPA Ireland.

Registration for the event will close at 5pm on November 8th, after which registered attendees will receive the information required to access the seminar. We look forward to seeing you at this event.

Please feel free to share details of this event amongst your networks and with doctoral candidates in your department/school.
